'Wreck-It Ralph' lays waste to box office competition

Disney's latest animated film is headed for a strong $45 million weekend.

2:40PM EDT November 3. 2012 - The animated filmWreck-It Ralph coasted to an easy win on Friday at theaters, setting up a big weekend box office haul.

The movie did $13.4 million on Friday, putting it on track to do more than $45 million for the weekend, according to studio estimates.

Denzel Washington's airplane thriller Flight also had a strong start from the gate, doing $8.1 million and putting it on course for strong weekend haul of about $22 million.
